FISU WORLD UNIVERSITY GAMES

Jul 17, 2025 - Jul 21, 2025
Berlin, Germany

From July 16 to 25, the World University Games will be held in the Rhine-Ruhr region and in the sports metropolis of Berlin.
It will be the 33rd summer edition of the biennial World University Games under the auspices of the International University Sports Federation (FISU).
Known as the Summer Universiade until 2021, the competitions will take place in several cities in the Ruhr region of North Rhine-Westphalia. In addition to Bochum, Duisburg, Essen, Mülheim an der Ruhr and Hagen, the sports metropolis is also one of the venues. The competitions in the disciplines of swimming, volleyball and water jumping will be held in the German capital. The venues in Berlin include the Max-Schmeling-Halle and the swimming and diving hall in the Europasportpark (SSE). The sports metropolis will once again underline its reputation as a proven stage for international multi-sport events. Around 8,500 top student athletes from up to 150 countries will be competing for medals in 18 sports. This makes the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games one of the world's largest events in 2025.

Come to the Schwimm- und Sprunghalle im Europasportpark (SSE)!
